Interlibrary Loan is free for the UHSP community!

Will the library always be able to get my article?

While the library can obtain copies of most articles from our partner lending libraries, there are times when we can't obtain an article for various reasons. Luckily, we can obtain 98% of all articles requested.

How do I request an article, book, or chapter from a book?

Click on either the Articles or Books tab to the left for more information on placing requests.

Can I get an eBook through Interlibrary Loan?

Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to borrow eBooks from other libraries.

How will I get my requested material?
  • Books: An email will be sent to your UHSP email address when your book is ready for pick-up at the Library Services Desk.

  • Articles: You will receive an email with your article attached as a PDF.
