Broken Links

Try refreshing the page, closing the browser, and trying again, or switching to a different browser. 

Browser Issues

Check to make sure you are using the most recent version of your browser. You will want to enable cookies and JavaScript in your browser and make sure Adobe Flash Player is up-to-date. 

Too Many Users

Some eBooks have restrictions on the number of simultaneous users; try accessing the eBook again in a few minutes.

  • STAT!Ref--limited to 5 simultaneous users for most titles
  • ASHP Injectable Drug Information--limited to 7 simultaneous users
  • Stahl’s Essential Psychopharmacology--limited to 7 simultaneous users
  • Stedman's Medical Dictionary--limited to 10 simultaneous users
  • Taber’s Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary--limited to 10 simultaneous users

File Types

How do I know which file formats my device can read?

Most eReaders can read PDFs or epub book formats. 

Formats by popular eReaders

Amazon Kindle

pdf, Kindle format (azw), txt, mp3, aa, aax.  Also can support doc(x), HTML, RTF, jpeg, gif, png, bmp, and pdf creation (with a for-fee conversion service from Amazon).  No epub.

iPhone/iPad

Most formats, depending on the app
