Guide to UHSP Library Services

Welcome! This page provides quick links to common library services at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy.

In the Library

Study spaces:

  • 1st floor: quiet group and individual study space
  • 2nd floor: group study rooms and silent individual study space--with the exception of the study rooms.
  • Collection Space (the areas with the bookshelves):
    • Lower Level: individual spaces for silent study
    • Mezzanine: individual spaces for silent study 

To ensure these areas remain quiet spaces to study, we ask you to keep conversations to a minimum when walking through the Library.

  • 9 reservable study rooms & 1 walk-in room
  • 3-hour reservations (1 reservation per person, per day)
  • Available when the Library Services Desk is open
  • See library hours for specific times
  • No reservation deadline!
  • Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance

Reserving a Library Study Room

Reserving a Room
  1. On the library homepage, scroll down the page and look for the Reserve a Study Room heading. 

  2. Click the Reserve a Room link to go to the Bookings page.

  3. Select a room and scroll down to see available dates and times. If you don't see any days or times available, refresh the page. 

  4. Select the starting time for your three-hour reservation

  5. Enter your first and last name along with your UHSP email address

  6. After submitting your reservation, you will get a confirmation email. 

Accessing your room
  1. At the start of your reservation, go to the Library Services Desk and show the staff your confirmation email

  2. Library Staff will check out the key to your room for 3 hours

  3. At the end of your 3-hour reservation, you will need to...

    • Wipe down the table with cleaning supplies in the room

    • Return the key to the Library Services Desk (fees will be charged to your student account if the key is late or lost)
