Welcome! This page provides quick links to common library services at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy.

Your Library Card & Account

Library Card

Faculty, staff, and students your UHSP ID is your library card. 

Your Library Account

You can renew items and check the status of holds by logging into your library account through the Library Catalog and clicking on the My Library Account link.

Library Login

To access your account or request books in MOBIUS you will need to enter:

  • Your Name = as it appears on your UHSP ID
  • Your College ID # plus your College Code
    • College ID = Your student ID number or faculty/staff ID #*
    • College code = COP

Example: 

  • Name = Mortarmer McPestle
  • College ID + College Code = 12345COP

* If you are a faculty or staff member and don't know your library ID #, please visit the Service Desk or email us at Library@uhsp.edu.

Checking Out Items

Our Library Collection

The UHSP Library Collection is located in the glassed-in area of the Library in the Academic and Research Building. Access to the Library Collection is limited to when the Library Services Desk is open. Hours can be found on our Hours & Services page. 

To search the UHSP collection use the Library Catalog/Books search tab on the library homepage or the link below. To locate an item in the physical collection note its location code and call number.

If you found the item and are ready to check it out OR need help locating the item, visit the Library Services Desk.

Requesting Items

MOBIUS and Interlibrary Loan

If the book or article you are looking for is not in the UHSP Library, don't worry; we can get it for you for FREE through MOBIUS or Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Please note that Preceptors can only place requests through Interlibrary Loan.

Accessing Online Resources

Our online library resources can be accessed 24/7 through the Library website while on campus and off campus. 

Summer 2023 Update:
Accessing library resources is easier, all you have to do is sign into your UHSP account through Microsoft.  
On-campus & using your UHSP-issued computer

You may NOT be prompted to sign in to access library resources because you have already signed onto the campus network when logging into your UHSP-issued computer.
Off-campus & using your USP-issued computer

You will be prompted to sign in to access library resources when you are off-campus and not on the campus internet/network. 

You may see the sign-on screen to your right. If you see this screen you only need to enter the following:

  • Your UHSP username: first name.last name
  • Your UHSP email password

 
Off-campus & on a shared computer

Users will need to sign in through their UHSP account. If you are on a shared computer, we recommend that your open a new internet browser session in a private browsing session/incognito window. 

If you see the image below and the account listed is NOT your UHSP account, click on the plus button and enter your UHSP username & password. 

Access Denied message
If you get an "Access Denied" message, the computer may be trying to log in with another Microsoft account. If this happens, open a new private browsing session/incognito window and enter your UHSP username & password when prompted.
