UHSP uses a Microsoft account for user authorization. If you are already signed into a Microsoft account belonging to another organization, we recommend that you open a new internet browser session in a private browsing session/incognito window.
To showcase our resources, UHSP allows guest users to browse our resources and perform searches through our Discovery Search without signing in. Guests can view search results and even article abstracts before they are prompted to sign in. It's only when guests click a link to access/download the full text of an item that they are prompted to sign in.
When clicking the link to access a database or the full text of an item, you will see the sign-in screen to your right.
As a preceptor, you will need to enter the username given to you by the Experiential Office; typically, your first name.last name.
If you are already signed into a Microsoft account belonging to another organization, we recommend opening up a new browser and opening the "incognito mode".
If you see the image below and the account listed is NOT your UHSP account, click on the plus button and enter your UHSP username & password. If you get an "Access Denied" message, the computer may be trying to log in with another Microsoft account. If this happens, open a new private browsing session/incognito window and enter your UHSP username & password when prompted.
